Poké is originally a Hawaiian dish, and its name means to slice in the local language. The idea is simple: a base of steamed rice or fresh salad is topped with your chosen protein, along with crunchy vegetables and a characterful dressing. It is light, fresh and filling at the same time, which makes it a perfect choice during a day at the beach.
The Lupa Poké menu offers four kinds of bowls. The chicken version brings together grilled chicken breast, jasmine rice, fresh vegetables and a sesame soy dressing. The tuna bowl is kept fresh with a citrus soy dressing and crunchy vegetables. The protein version is made without rice, with grilled chicken breast, boiled egg and a garlic yoghurt dressing, while the vegetarian bowl offers a complete, meat-free dish with grilled tofu and edamame. Every bowl is a flat 3,890 forints.
Alongside the poké you can also choose a seasonal selection of cut fruit or a smoothie, or vegetables with hummus dip if you are after something lighter.
